Astronaut Lacy Veach Day of Discovery is a FREE, hands-on STEM event for students in grades PK–12, featuring workshops, activities, and demonstrations in space exploration, Polynesian voyaging, robotics, rocketry, and more. Named in honor of a local islander astronaut Charles Lacy Veach, who flew two Space Shuttle missions, this event celebrates his legacy while inspiring the next generation to explore, innovate, and dream big.
