Have you ever wondered why people dap you up even though you barely talk to them? This is because of a phenomenon circulating throughout the hallways. The phenomenon being the overall kindness and generosity that is displayed within HSES. Various kids that attend our school feel empathetic towards the ones who may not be as sociable as they are. This elicits a domino effect, causing more people to notice each other, interact, and maybe even become friends. At high schools across the country, including HSES, having a close circle is essential for your overall high school experience. We have three tips for someone who is struggling and longing for a stable friendship.
Rule number one: Be respectful towards your peers. In our HSES community, respect is valued immensely.
Rule number two: Don’t do too much. A relaxed state of mind is better for your overall well being, and protects the peace of the other students around you.
Rule number three: Talk to people! Presentability goes a long way; it allows you to express your ideas and thoughts while also communicating with your fellow peers!
