Thank you both so much for taking care of our home and beloved Lucy pooch! It was so lovely to come home to a relaxed and happy pooch and thank you also for going the extra mile with all the little extra’s which were not necessary but we so appreciate! You are wonderful! Lizzie and Steve are animal whisperers.

It took a couple of weeks of smoozing for them to earn the confidence of my very timid rescue kitty but their patience, kindness and persistence prevailed. I returned home to a well cared for pet and well maintained home and garden.

Lizzie and Steve, thank you so so much for accepting the challenge, for staying in my teeny tiny home, caring for Mungee and my things, keeping the garden alive in quite demanding temperatures. Anyone who wants the real deal, will be able to leave their precious pet, belongings and home in your hands, go away and return to pampered pets and clean sheets.

Firstly, we would like you to know how much we appreciated you accommodating us on those few days which overlapped on your house sitting calendar.

Thank you so very much for taking such good care of our home and most importantly Mojo, Ollie, Amazon and our chooks. Thanks also for the photos, it meant the world to us, to see how much our pets bonded with you both (even “I don't like anyone” Amazon).

It was great to be able to go away without having to worry about a thing. We have no hesitation in highly recommending you both to anyone looking for honest, reliable and friendly house/pet sitters.

Simply put - Liz and Steve are amazing. There are few select people I would trust to look after my beloved puppies, but can now definitely add them to the list. Liz and Steve were so great from when I asked them to house sit until the day they left for their new place. It was such a huge relief knowing my two girls and our home were so well looked after. The girls no doubt kept them on their toes most of the time, but they cared for them like they were their own. Our next holiday will be booked for when Liz and Steve are free! Couldn’t recommend them enough. Lifesavers!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Liz & Steve. It was so hard to leave our fur babe whilst we were away but Liz and Steve were so understanding! They sent constant updates /photos whilst we were away and were always happy to respond to ALL my messages checking in 😄. You could see right away how much they loved Oliver as if he were their own which was lovely to see. Thank you both so much for helping Jeff and I at such short notice and for being so kind and amazing to deal with since day one. Even though Oliver was so happy to see us when we returned you could tell he had that much fun that he also didn’t want to leave. Merry Christmas and thank you both once again we are definitely grateful for everything.

Thank you so much for the beautiful way you left our home. I could see that the garden (including getting rid of the cooch in the driveway at the front), bird baths, pool and house were very well looked after while we were away. I was so keen to see the garden I walked around with a torch the night we returned from Europe.

Thank you so much for the fantastic care of Carla whilst we were away. She was a happy relaxed dog when we came back and her stress only started when she realised Steve was not there to take her for 2 walks a day. The house was spotless which was lovely to come home to after a 4.5 hour drive so it meant I could put my feet up, after unpacking of course. Would have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and we would have you housesit again if your calendar permits. Thank you once again.

A BIG BIG thanks to you both Lizzie and Steve for looking after our house as well as our 4 furbabies (3 cats and 1 dog), turtle and the snake. (as well as the 21yr old child for 9 days)

Knowing that you were both in our home gave us total peace of mind for 4 weeks - allowing us to enjoy our first grandson with no added stress !!

Thank you both for housesitting twice for us now! Our 2 greyhounds, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, 3 budgies, quail and snails all miss you.

You're both such caring, loving people and it's easy to see you love animals, and they love you. I actually think the cat was disappointed when you left and we came home.

Having you both stay here took the stress away and we could enjoy our holidays without worry.

Dear Lizzie & Steve

Thank you very much for the wonderful job you did of looking after our Jezabelle. Three months away from home and we could not have gone away had we not been confident that you two were the perfect “step parents” for the doggess Jezabelle. She clearly loves you both and misses your gentle presence. Thank you also for looking after our home, tending to the garden and even sorting the mail for me. All very much appreciated.

It was very important for us that who ever we chose lived in our home, our dog was abandoned twice before she met us when she was a much younger lady. She still has abandonment issues! So thank you, she has just turned 11 yesterday, we celebrated her birthday with her giving her a bone and a trip to the beach.

We hope you will not be so booked up next year that we can have you return once again.

What can I say, Steve did such a great job house sitting, not only looking after my home and large garden & lawn but also caring for my animals. Diamond my retired greyhound was contented & happy when I arrived home after being away for 3 weeks. He welcomed me home & then went looking for Steve, I must admit I was a bit jealous :) Thank you for walking him each day too, he looks great.

I also have two cats & an aviary of budgies. I believe after a short time the cats forgot they were frightened of men & became really smoochy, good on you Steve.

I left a list of all my pot plants etc that needed watering & every one of them is looking great plus the water dishes for the wild birds were looked after too so I am really rapt with the way my home & family were cared for in my absence. I was a bit disappointed knowing Lizzie wasn't able to come this time but highly commend Steve as being an excellent house sitter on his own too.

If anyone was to ask me if I could recommend a lovely couple to look after their home and animals I wouldn't hesitate to tell them about Steve & Lizzie. Thank you so much.

Steve and Lizzie are lovely and very supportive, they came to my house and met my pets prior to the arranged dates. Not wanting to use a boarding kennel for our pooches a friend recommended the Aussie House Sitters Site ... it was here that we found Steve and Lizzie... and how glad we were!! are!!Steve and Lizzie agreed to visit us on two occasions to meet with us and our doggies prior to our departure on holidays for 11 days in total. We kept in touch whilst overseas briefly to ensure all was well. We returned to our place spick and span... doggies well looked after and by all accounts very spoilt! We have evidence ... Henri laying full stretch on Lizzie on the lounge...Everything went very well and Steve and Lizzie enjoyed the stay too! Both David and myself would highly recommend Steve and Lizzie and have ensured they would be happy to help us out in the future.... how good is that! Thanks so much guys!
