On the 4th of May 2020 a Minecraft map as a base for the school timetable, with rooms and labs to start to create the system. With 1050 students (6 Houses, 7 Year Groups, 42 Tutor Groups and 25 students per tutor group), she soon ran into the problem of not enough rooms and teachers.
The campus now is no longer made up of the original campus as all the buildings have been replaced with buildings made by flutters.
The school went unnamed for the time being until the 15th of June 2020 in which the school was called Horizon School. With the 4 houses being called Alpha, Beta, Charlie and Delta.
Upon reflection flutters kept the rooms and teachers but minimised the school size to 700 (4 Houses, 7 Year Groups, 28 tutor groups and 25 Students per tutor group) from the original 1050. The timetable system started off with 70 staff, and 83 rooms and offices. Initially, the timetable system only included Years 7-11 due to the lack of knowledge of timetabled lessons in A-Level and BTEC Level 3 courses.
On August 2021, Skye added A-Level courses to the timetable in however, found out she calculated the wrong number of lessons, thus adding lessons at the end of the school day. The timetable system was promptly remade to accomodate the A-Level subjects around October 2021.
he school slowly rebuilt itself, and by now none of the buildings were originally from the Minecraft map as they were destroyed and rebuilt to fit more classrooms.
In the 2022-2023 academic year the school grew back to 1050 students (6 Houses, 7 Year Groups, 42 Tutor Groups and 25 students per tutor group), in which the extra two houses were called Echo and Foxtrot to fit the theme. During this time, placeholders for non-existent classes/tutors (Such as tutor group 11E/11F/13E/13F) were in place to accommodate and mock up what the year ahead would be like, however all other tutor groups in Echo and Foxtrot were in force.
In July 2023, the houses were all renamed and the order of classes have shifted.
