About Us

We have been gardening, canning and preserving for well over 15 years in our raised bed gardens at our home in Cambia County, PA. We have sought out environmentally beneficial and non-harmful practices from the start. These have guided our decisions in what we plant, how we plant, and how we care for our plants, striving to maintain ecological balance. The use of composting, organic fertilizer, heirloom and/or Non-GMO seed when possible and reclaimed rain water are a few of the practices we engage in for our home vegetable and herb production and preservation. We also employ organic, homemade, pest control methods and minimal reliance on supplemental chemicals when and where possible.

When we heard about a contained system to grow highly flavorful and nutritionally dense microgreens we started our own indoor project to determine if able to grow them. We discovered along the way they are more than just a garnish. With Kelly's southern roots and love of traditional greens, this product was a natural fit in our diet. We also found the density of vitamins and nutrients an added benefit. The philosophy behind microgreens of minimal to no supplements added in a closely monitored environment that allows high quality, non-GMO, organic seed to flourish meshed with our philosophy of non-enhanced agriculture.

Now we are happy to be able to offer a variety of microgreens and other micro-farm products to customers in the local area so they can experience the health benefits and culinary enhancements from these products that we have also discovered.
