What are microgreens?

According to the Gardening Channel.com "Microgreens are the seedling of any vegetable or herb plant shortly after germination, when the first set of real leaves appear."  Our Products page delves more into the differences between microgreens and sprouts.

Our Philosophy on growing microgreens:

Environmentally Responsible

We strive to use as many environmentally responsible products and  sustainable practices as possible on our micro farm

Hydroponically Grown

No soil is used, instead, an inert medium is used to support the microgreens roots reducing the risk of chemical, fertilizers and microbes that exist in soil.

Non-GMO Seeds

We use Non-GMO Seeds and/or Certified Organic seeds from  a US- based vendor.

Sanitization

We sanitize our seeds and growing medium to ensure that they are free of germs or microbes

No harmful chemicals, fertilizers, or pesticides

Clean, pure water along with natural  growing medium fiber and LED grow lights are all that goes into our product

100% Green Packaging

All of our packing containers are a resin made from plant-based materials from a PA supplier

In light of our belief about access to healthy, whole foods we also accept SNAP, WIC, FMNP and SFMNP vouchers and checks.
