Frequently Asked Questions

• How old do I need to be to attend? To attend the trip, you should be in/going into 9th grade. Students of this age do not need to be accompanied by an adult. 

• Can I bring my child on this trip? Yes, but they must be going into 9th grade or older. 

• Will there be cellular service? Camp Bahamas is located on the small island of Eleuthera where there is wifi.  While there is wifi, encourage you to unplug for this week and to immerse yourself in missions. Zach and I will create a Hope Co. Eleuthera Mission page on Instagram and Facebook to keep your friends and family updated. If for some reason you need to get into contact with your family during the trip, you may call with our phones. 

• Does this trip have a lot of vigorous activity? Most of our day includes hot working conditions and lots of movement. You will have breaks and water as needed, but we encourage you to serve to the best of your ability.

• Where will I be sleeping? Camp is equipped with 10 cabins: 5 for boys and 5 for girls. Each cabin has A.C., twin bunk beds, showers, and toilets. 

• If I have meal requirements/allergies, do they accommodate for this? Camp Bahamas does a great job of giving a variety of foods during meal times. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is served each day around the same times. If you have certain restrictions, please talk to Zach or Anna Shotton. We encourage you to bring some of your own snacks (just incase).

• When do I have to commit to the trip? Please submit your application and turn in your $150 deposit no later than January 11, 2026.
