Where: Eleuthera, Bahamas Dates: June 2-8, 2024
Everyday we were given the opportunity to serve at Camp Bahamas. This trip, we were painting cabins, pouring concrete for a building, building a kayack rack, and clearing out brush from the "bush" for the paintball field. Each morning we would have breakfast, go over work projects, and go out to work. The reason we work at the Camp is so bahamian youth from all islands can learn about Jesus all the while making memories at a camp with people who love them.
Following our project efforts, we'd venture into the Eleuthera community, sharing the gospel of Jesus with its people. Engaging in prayer walks, spending time with the children, and spreading love among the locals became our routine. This gave us hope that by consistently returning to Eleuthera, we can forge stronger connections and manifest the love of Jesus through these lasting relationships.
After many days of serving, our group would enjoy jumping into the ocean and exploring the site we stayed at. For the fun day, we went to the Spider Caves, The Ocean Hole, and Sky Beach. After a week of service, we believe that it is important to rest and have fun.
This is the video we created for the 2024 Missions Trip to Eleuthera.
