WORK PROJECTS
Everyday we were given the opportunity to serve at Camp Bahamas. This trip, we were painting cabins, pouring concrete for a building, building molds for steps and pouring the concrete, and clearing out brush from the "bush". Each morning we would have breakfast, go over work projects, and go out to work. The reason we work at the Camp is so bahamian youth from all islands can learn about Jesus all the while making memories at a camp with people who love them.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Following our project efforts, we'd venture into the Eleuthera community, sharing the gospel of Jesus with its people. Engaging in prayer walks, spending time with the children, and spreading love among the locals became our routine. We witnessed a man accept salvation during our visit. This gave us hope that by consistently returning to Eleuthera, we can forge stronger connections and manifest the love of Jesus through these lasting relationships.
SOME EXTRAS
During our missions trip, we were given a fun day and a day to go to church with some of the locals. At church, some of our group members were able to speak and share testimonies.
Our fun day consisted of exploring the island and going on adventures to beautiful places. We also go to eat at a local restaurant called, "Tippys".
This is the video we created for the 2023 trip. Enjoy!
