We, as dairy farmers, are working together to find ethical, environmental, and economic ways to impact the industry for consumers local and worldwide.
We had the honor to receive the a Sustainability Award this year as an
Honorable Mention as an Outstanding Dairy Farm Sustainability 2016.
The digester allows for the dairy to provide electricity to the local electricity circuit. Since the implementation, the digester has taken the manure and created enough electricity to power 1,000 homes per hour.
We have also added a Automated calf feeder barn that allows for water runoff to be collected to be processed safely.
It is our mission to be responsible stewards of the land, air, and water for future generations to enjoy!
The robots help with the farm being more efficient, adds cow comforts, and reduce health issues to name a few of the sustainable increase with this new robotic dairy!
Cows can choose when they get milked, when they lay down to rest, and when they go eat. There are back scratchers and they lay on memory foam mattresses.
