Hollister Guardians supports our community's celebration of Día de los Niños y Niñas on the Westside of Hollister. We post info below to help you find the location of the celebration:
5pm (April 30) at Jacaranda Circle. There will be Free books for kids from the Library Book Mobile. Kids can also go door-to-door to get other treats.

Las Posadas 2023
Hollister Guardians is assisting with our community's Las Posadas celebration on the Westside of Hollister. We've created a schedule below to help you find the location for each day from December 16 to 23. It's a free event, with food, drink, pinatas, and treats for kids. Bring your family!

Día de los Muertos 2023
Hollister Guardians sponsored a table at the November 5th, 2023 celebration of Día de los Muertos in downtown Hollister. Our table featured something educational and tasty for both kids and adults.

Endangered Species & Alebrijes
Hollister Guardians' table featured a game that educates kids about endangered species of San Benito County. We linked them to Alebrijes, the spirit animals that guide humans in Mexican culture. Kids spin a wheel displaying endangered animals to win various treats.
Organic Produce & Health
Hollister Guardians wants to encourage healthy diets, so our table offered free organic produce donated by a local farm. Adults were invited to try some healthy organic produce and given compostable bags to select what they liked.
