The legendary Albus Dumbledore is Hogwarts' wise and compassionate Headmaster. Known for his immense power and unconventional teaching methods, he’s a guiding force for students and teachers alike. Dumbledore is famous for his courage, his contributions to magical theory, and, of course, his memorable speeches at the beginning of each school year.
Our stern but fair Deputy Headmistress, Professor McGonagall, teaches Transfiguration, a complex branch of magic focusing on altering objects' forms. She’s a formidable Animagus, able to transform into a tabby cat at will, and has a deep commitment to Hogwarts and its students. Her fierce loyalty and sharp wit make her both respected and admired.
Professor Snape, known for his black robes and often intimidating demeanor, is the Potions Master. Though he later takes on Defense Against the Dark Arts, he's an expert in potion-making, demanding precision and discipline from his students. He’s complex, mysterious, and unwaveringly intelligent, with a profound knowledge of dark magic and hidden motivations that even the students can sense.
Tiny but mighty, Professor Flitwick is an expert in Charms and has a background as a dueling champion. Known for his enthusiasm and encouraging teaching style, he makes his subject accessible and engaging, inspiring students to develop their magical skills in everything from simple charms to complex spells.
The head of Hufflepuff House, Professor Sprout is Hogwarts’ resident Herbologist. She is practical, down-to-earth, and an expert on magical plants, many of which she grows in the Hogwarts greenhouses. Her hands-on classes are loved by students, especially those with an affinity for plants and nature.
Mystical and somewhat eccentric, Professor Trelawney teaches Divination, the art of predicting the future. Known for her flowing robes and layered jewelry, she’s enigmatic and speaks in a dreamy tone, claiming to possess a unique talent for prophecy. While some students are skeptical, she has shown moments of true Seer abilities.
Hagrid, the lovable half-giant, serves as the Keeper of Keys and Grounds as well as the Care of Magical Creatures professor. Though a bit unconventional, Hagrid has a deep affection for magical creatures and enjoys sharing his love of them with students. His lessons are always an adventure (and often a test of courage!).
Slughorn is a charming, shrewd, and well-connected Potions expert. Known for his "Slug Club," he often befriends students with exceptional potential. Though he enjoys collecting connections, he’s a warm-hearted teacher who delights in seeing his students succeed.
Professor Binns, our resident ghost, teaches History of Magic. Known for his monotonous lectures, Binns isn’t the liveliest professor (quite literally!), but his deep knowledge of magical history is unmatched. Despite his rather drowsy delivery, dedicated students can uncover a wealth of knowledge from his classes.
Energetic and no-nonsense instructor, Madam Hooch is responsible for teaching first-year students the fundamentals of flying on broomsticks. With her short, spiky gray hair, sharp hawk-like eyes, and a commanding presence, she’s a natural in her role. Madam Hooch is skilled in broomstick navigation and is the official Quidditch referee at Hogwarts, enforcing fairness and safety in the school’s competitive matches.
