HOWL are in tune
with VIBE
Sunday 4th October
Seven Howlers joined Michael and Marilyn at the Kings18 complex in East Grinstead in support of their VIBE (Visually Impaired Bowls England) fundraiser.
They are both off to New Zealand at the end of the year where Marilyn is part of the England team in an international competition.
Our tickets gave us free access to amongst other things AR Darts where Gary triumphed.
We moved on to Mini Golf where Jo’s golfing prowess ensured she came out tops whilst Cindy’s less orthodox style gave her second place.
In the Karaoke session The Howlers howled their way through amongst others, Bohemian Rhapsody, YMCA, Delilah (Sensational Alex Harvey Band version) and Summer of 69. We finished with our unique version of Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer - no romantic sentimental ballads for us!
MOTO UNION SHOW ARDINGLY
Sunday 20th September
At an action-packed Moto Union Show, the HOWL team set up their new gazebo, HOWL banner, along with new mats for the bikes and spotlights, cleverly placed to really bring out the best of the bikes on display.
Immediately we signed up one 3-year membership and one annual membership.
Food stalls were exceptional together with complimentary MOTO Union Cup Cakes
Outside, interests included two stunt shows, the Rockets Children's Motorcycle Display Team and off-road riding experience provided by Desert Rose on their Zero electric dirt bike.
The highlight of our day was undoubtedly HOWL winning the BEST STAND AWARD! It was pleasing that our innovation and hard work was rewarded.

Fri/Sun 11-13th September
Six Howlers met up once again on the South Coast with two other long-standing Howlers who have moved away.
Great bands, cheap drink with a choice of Real Ales, food courtesy of the local Scouts all made for a friendly traditional rally (arrival on motorbikes only).
This was their 55th such event and as always exceptionally well organised and attended by almost 200 bikers on machines of all makes and sizes.
Apart from an airbed malfunction (which was a bit of a let down!) we had a great time (Rob, kindly came to the rescue).
Ace Cafe Brighton Burn Up
Sunday 6th September
Ten Howlers met up on the Madeira Drive prom for the Annual Ace Cafe Brighton Burn Up
The warm September weather ensured a bumper turnout with seemingly every bike in the South of England descending on the seafront - an estimated 10,000.
Fish and Chips was of course followed by ice cream on the beach.
Thanks to Steve and Dan for leading the two groups
Q. Where do all those bikes go for the rest of week/year??
