DAN
I have been riding for 14 years I started off on a CBF125 which to me didn't feel much bigger to me than the green SS50 pictured. You will normally see me on my trusty Pan European ST1100 which is a bit more my size. I am a massive motorsport fan especially the IOM TT. I enjoy riding a wide range of roads from really narrow technical to free flowing A roads.
Bikes owned are Honda CBF125, Honda CBR600F3, Yamaha Diversion 600S, Suzuki Bandit 600S, Honda hornet CB600, Honda Fireblade CBR900RR and the Honda Pan European ST1100.
JUDE
I have been a member of the HOC GB since 1980 when Joy & Jon & I started the West London Branch. I have been riding for about 50 years and have owned mostly Hondas—and a few Kawasakis. I currently own a CB400/4 and a CB 500F. I believe that we are all motorcyclists be we men or women or other—just a gang of like minded people.
I have held most positions on the HOWL committee—and am at present Chairman. I have also held a number of positions on the HOC GB committee—Editor twice, PRO, Classic Sec twice, President (only a short time left here) I always have the best interests of the Club at heart and all I want is a happy branch and a happy club.
CHARLES
Charles is busy now running the 'Saddle Sore' event at the moment...
When he has some spare time he will reveal... everything 😅
JON
Together with Jude and Joy Penberthy (who previously ran an Exeter HOC branch) I was in at the beginning of HOWL in September 1980. I've been riding for 55 years starting on a 200cc Triumph Tiger Cub from school days then through a range of Hondas and Kawasakis. Favourite bike would be the VFR750 bought in 1986 and kept for ten years. There are faster, more powerful machines but when it comes to riding all year round on a start first time in the snow and ice/never let you down machine, I had a great affection for the less-fashionable CB500 - couldn't commend highly enough - truly a 365 days a year biker's bike. Currently own a 'Marmite' NC750X
