wages
Have you ever heard of payment using a sliding scale? The concept inspired me to monetize my services in a similar way.
Higher Wages are acceptable for services utilising skills or expertise gained from a previous occupations, knowledge paid for with higher education or certifications, or my intellectual property.
Examples: coordinate educational programs or outdoor recreational activities; design custom itineraries or area guides; manage your Hipcamp or Farmer's Market stand; table and sell your products at markets or festivals; lead tours at your farm or vineyard; teach a pottery class; copy write and design your website.
Lower Wages are acceptable for services that do not require expertise or formal training, or can be easily taught (general or manual labor). It's not perfect, but it's done, and with integrity! Done successfully, but not masterfully.
Examples: maintain animals and animal areas; garden and harvest; paint; organise your hobby shed or workshop.
barter & work-exchange
This arrangement is ideal for business or individuals who may not have excess cash flow to offer wages, but do have resources, skills, or knowledge that can be shared instead! Exchanges that interest me might include, but are not limited to:
Site and Amenities - Safe and semi-private parking for camper trailer with potable water, and access to toilet and shower.
Apprenticeship - Opportunity for training and education in one of my fields of interest.
Goods - Homemade or local food (bread, dairy products, produce, etc.), handmade clothes, medicinal herbs.
