Arizona Conservation Corps is a program of Conservation Legacy, and is operated in partnership with public land management agencies and AmeriCorps.
As a Crew Member, I was part of a small team, consisting of 3-5 crew members and 1-2 leads, focusing on recreational and conservationist projects throughout Arizona. Projects were assigned on a hitch schedule, meaning the team lived and camped on-site or near the project consecutively for 8 days, and was then off consecutively the following 6 days.
In the 2025 Spring/Summer season I worked on the following projects:
Riparian marsh restoration for Imperial Irrigation District in Imperial, California
Trail maintenance and construction at Tonto National Forest and Wupatki National Monument
Natural spring restoration, landscaping, and irrigation maintenance at Yellow Dripping Rock National Monument, known colonially as Pipe Springs
Watershed restoration for Friends of the Verde River at Prescott National Forest
Gave: Manual labor 10 hours/day for 8 days
Received: Bi-weekly stipend, food while on assignment, secured trailer and vehicle storage, Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.

In the role of host, I served as the main point of contact on-site for campers; cultivated community through promoted events; and, gave personal recommendations for nearby activities and businesses.
In the role of property manager, I performed general upkeep of the land, campground amenities, and communal spaces; improved organisation of equipment shed; improved functionality and design of campground.

I was involved in the following projects: copywrote and re-designed Wix website; painted and stained wood outdoor glamping structures; assisted with farm/property maintenance; coordinated booked events; and, created digital marketing material.
Gave: Manual labor, events coordination, and marketing 20-30 hours/week.

free range eggs; fresh garden produce; homemade food; business and self-reliant homesteading wisdom.
I have a diverse work background that includes marketing and communications, project and event managements, hospitality, retail sales and customer service! Most of these roles involved daily physical labor (i.e., walking, traveling, lifting, stocking, building displays or setting up equipment, etc.). Additionally, these roles showcase my ability to work autonomously with integrity, as well as collaboratively with a team.
