I welcome all those interested in becoming members of the Catholic Church. As an 8 th grade
religious teacher for 7 years and then that of OCIA for 13 years for those wishing to discern the
faith. In this process we explore how the history of the church reveals the truth of Jesus Christ
and the Catholic traditions. If you are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or
serving in any way, please contact me.
As a permeant deacon, I completed two years of studies for the lay ministerial and three years
of study at St. Mary’s of the West seminary in Cincinnati I was ordained a deacon in 2013. I am
a cradle Catholic and came to Holy name of Jesus parish in 1990 with my wife and family. My
door is always open to anyone in need.

I am truly thrilled to partner with you as your child grows in their faith. You are their primary catechists, and I am here to support you in every way I can. With more than 25 years of experience in Catholic education as both a teacher and a catechist, I understand how essential it is to help our young people build a strong and lasting foundation in their faith. As a mom, this mission is especially close to my heart. Holy Name of Jesus has been my family's church community since 2011. Programs like Youth Group, Religious Education and the opportunities to serve and volunteer were exceptionally important to my own children, which makes this ministry even more meaningful and personal. I want the same for you and your children as well.
Together, we can guide them to navigate the world as faithful Christians, to stay rooted in their values, and to become shining examples who lead others to Christ through their words and actions.

Busy moms can always use support in teaching their children. My goal is to, in a fun and easy way, inspire a growth in the desire to learn the Catholic faith. Following the archdiocese's guidelines and a published curriculum, children are introduced to brief stories from the Bible and about saints, concepts of faith, repetition of common Catholic prayers, faith-based vocabulary, and recognition of the liturgical calendar, objects, and vestments. Children visit the church, attend seasonal Mass, and go to confession. With the grace of God received at Mass, we hope to help guide ourselves and others to be better images of Jesus Christ.
I have a master’s degree in Art Education, teaching experience in public school, and served as a teacher’s aide when my children were taking religion classes. I also serve as an extraordinary minister (Mass server) and choir member, and I am the leader of Young at Heart. I joined the church in 1977 when I was married, and came to Holy Name of Jesus parish in 1990.
