The magic eightball is a popular toy invented in the 1950s. The user asks a yes or no question, shaking the eightball and turning it over to reveal the “magic” prediction.
The magic eightball is filled with a fluid and the predictions are inscribed on a 20
sided object that floats in the fluid. When the ball is turned over the object floats to the window showing one of the inscribed sides.
Design and program a simulation of the Magic Eightball. Use magic eightball starter.sb3 to help you begin. The prediction sprite has 20 costumes representing the original 20 predictions. You may want to modify these or add your own predictions.
Magic Eightball Play:
1. The eightball costume should be visible before selecting the green flag.
2. The player will ask a question of the magic eightball.
3. When the player clicks the green flag the costume should change to the window
side of the eight ball and a random prediction should appear.
Extra Fun:
• Program the eightball to shake/vibrate when the green flag is clicked.
