PRESIDENT

Kenny Nava

สวัสดี! Or should i just say hi. Anyway, my name is Kenny Nava, i’m a senior here at HML, and I’m this year's MUN President. One interesting thing about me is that while i’m fluent in English and Spanish, I also read, write, and speak French, Thai, and a little Greek. I’m so excited to be the Secretary-General for TrojanMUN II and train a whole bunch of new people to get awards and have fun, and do the same myself :)

Gabriella Vega

Hello everyone! My name is Gabriella Vega and I will be serving as your vice president for HML’s Model UN club for the year 2024! I’m a junior, and have been going to MUN conferences since I was in the 6th grade. Meaning this is my 5th school year doing MUN. I’ve done everything from General Assembly, Specialized and Crisis committees and have gotten awards in all 3 types. Fun fact, I speak 3 languages: English, Spanish, and French. I have even participated in a committee only speaking Spanish. I can not wait to help others succeed and grow to enjoy the competitive but rewarding nature that MUN brings. As well as the doors it opens to the world of diplomatic work and international relations!

Roberto Carmona

Hello everyone! My name is Roberto Carmona and I will be serving as your secretary for HML MUN 2024! I’m a junior and I started on the MUN circuit just two years ago. When I’m not listening to history podcasts, studying chemistry, or memorizing random trivia facts, I’m probably studying for worldquest or doing outlines. I’m extremely excited to make this year the best in history of HML MUN, and can’t wait for all the amazing things that we can accomplish as a team.

Maurits Acosta

Hello all! My name is Maurits Acosta and it is my pleasure to serve as this year's historian. I am an 11th grade student at HML with a passion of serving my school and community. I started to partake in Model UN during my 7th grade year at Miami Lakes Middle School. My freshman year in high school, I founded Virtutem Populo, a civic engagement nonprofit in Miami-Dade County. I look forward to a successful year filled with many blessings (and MUN awards).

Stephanie Rodriguez

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie Rodriguez and I am your 2024 Treasurer. I'm a Junior at HML and have been doing model UN since the 6th grade. Individually from mun I also do Debate and am the Co founder and president of the HML Debate team! MUN has truly shaped my life and I hope I can help spread the many things MUN has to offer.
