Session includes 2 hours of practice as well as a beverage and snack. Parents can either drop off at 5th grader Oscar Mon’s home, or directly at the range. Open to current 5th graders.

Horace Mann School Alumni Annika and Elsa Mechelke (Soren’s older sisters) will teach the fundamentals of volleyball: passing, setting, hitting and serving. Annika, a junior at Highland Park Senior High School, has been playing volleyball for ten years, and was a captain and starting All-Conference setter on the varsity team this past Fall. She is currently playing on a 17’s club team at Northern Lights. Elsa Mechelke, a ninth grader at Highland Park Senior High, has been playing volleyball for 8 years, and is currently playing on the Impact 15-1’s club team. Both girls have experience coaching and working with younger kids, and are excited to share their knowledge of the game. During the camp, the kids will do drills, earn prizes, play games, and have a ton of fun learning to play volleyball! Camp Supervisor Nikki Mechelke will reach out to you in late May with more details. In the event of inclement weather, there will be one make-up session on Saturday, June 13th.
