My name is Halle Evans (she/her) , and I’m currently studying  Exercise Science with a minor in Health Psychology at IU Indianapolis. I’m pursuing a career as an Occupational Therapist because I want to support children in building confidence, independence, and strength, both physically and emotionally.  

As a first-generation college student, I’ve faced unique challenges navigating higher education, especially while managing my own struggles with anxiety and depression. My experiences have taught me resilience, self-advocacy, and compassion. They’ve also fueled my passion for mental health and trauma-informed care, which are values I hope to carry into my work. Through my education, internship, and work experiences, I’m developing the tools to one day be the kind of therapist who helps people feel safe, seen, and capable, no matter what they’re going through.
