Recognition of Donors:
Thank you! - to all the countless individual donors who have given to Historic Elmhurst over the years. Highest on that list would be the many, many brothers and sisters of the several Masonic bodies who meet here, and have met here since 1941. They have certainly given much through their membership dues and individual efforts which contribute significantly to operating costs, maintenance and improvements of "the Lodge building." Many, many no doubt have given above their dues' requirements, and designated the optional portion be donated to the building fund. This all being in addition to their founding of Historic Elmhurst Inc. in 1939, the acquisition of the building, renovations and reopening of it on February 22, 1941. Thank you, Freemasons and Stars. May your dedication to making people better versions of themselves continue to be ever-more contagious.
Thank you as well, to the many Connersville businesses that have contributed through sponsorship of the the Warren Lodge #15 Tresteleboard, the newsletter of the Masons. This list is immortalized in a handsome frame of engraved brass plaques and is displayed prominently in the Harrison Room at Elmhurst.
