Tin Can

Tin Can is a lightweight metal container, usually made of tin or aluminum, used for storing food, beverages, or household items. Tin cans became common in the Philippines during the 20th century as canned goods and other preserved products were introduced. After use, Filipinos often repurposed these cans as containers for oil, nails, buttons, and even small plants—a reflection of the Filipino value of pagkamaparaan (resourcefulness).
