Can you see those large trees straight ahead? Those are Interior Live Oak, and it happens to be one of three native oaks in the area. It is also very close to Wild Plum. They have large amounts of white flowers during the spring and have a variety of colors from yellow to red fruits which are great for making jelly, jam, and wine, or you can just eat it off the tree in early summer.
