Title: Perfection Behind Imperfection
Grade: 3
"My photo shows one side of the pumpkin is rotting and the other is perfect. So if people only look at one side, they would not see the perfection of the other side. This pumpkin came from our garden. We will put it out for Halloween even though it is imperfect because we grew it from a seed and it is perfect to us and we are accepting imperfection. "

Title: Nothing is Perfect
Grade: 4
"The road is not always black and white. The road is not always perfect or smooth. There will be cracks, or bumps. Sometimes you will fall and fail, but learning to pick yourself up will bring color and beauty to life. Embrace the imperfect road and walk through the cracks and broken pieces on the sidewalk. At the end of the road, there will be a light of color. The road isn’t perfect, and everything in life doesn’t and has to be perfect. Nothing needs to be perfect, because everything in life has something special about itself."

Title: The Perfect Lantern - Again
Grade: 2
"The lantern was pretty good until we brought it to camp and someone dropped it off a high surface and it fell down and broke into a lot of pieces. It didn't work. But my mom fixed it with hot glue. It is as bright as the beginning even though we see the cracks and holes. It is still perfectly fine."
