Title: Perfectly Imperfect
Grade: 8
"Accepting imperfection. I searched for a meaning of perfection, only to find that there’s really not a singular meaning. Perfection can come in many shapes and forms, varying from person to person. So in my poem, I first described the general public’s definition of perfection, then contrasted it to someone who is not perfect to those standards. Lastly, I ended my poem by encouraging readers not to feel the need to fit into or follow these “rules”, and to just be yourself, since you are perfect in your own way."

Title: Embracing Our Imperfect Journey
Grade: 4
"My art explores themes of resilience, love, and the beauty of imperfection. Inspired by my childhood, when my mother faced major surgery, I learned about strength and vulnerability as we adapted to new challenges together. I express the deep bond we shared-full of join, uncertainty, and love. I believe that imperfection is a key part of being human. It's not just about achievements, but how we support one another through struggles. My art invites viewers to embrace their own imperfections and beauty in vulnerability."
