Due to her father being a staunch Legitimist, he opposed the revolutionary views of many of his French countrymen. The family moved first to England, and then to the colonies in Australia.
Family owned ‘Wynella’ – where the Goulburn abattoirs is now situated
Had 9 children (6 sons, 3 daughters)
Lost 3 sons and a son-in-law during the First World War
Donated the organ and contributed to the stained-glass window behind the altar in St. Peter and Paul's Old Cathedral
Donated to a local orphanage
