About | Room Parents are the liaison between parents, teachers, faculty, committee service chairs, and the PA for classroom activities, resources and service to the school. Room parent volunteers are generally assigned by the third week of school in order to be available to assist teachers and parents. Teachers & room parents volunteers are encouraged to plan activities, events and parties as a team by grade level so all children in the same grade can have similar experiences.

Volunteer Details
Volunteers check-in at the office and wear their EIM badge.
Organize classroom volunteers for class and grade level activities, events and parties.
Coordinate with other grade-level room parents on activities, events themes, parties and projects.
Collect items for class activities and events.
Assist with the organization of class auction items for the Gala.
Communicate important information/ announcements to class parents.
Distribute the Meet the Teacher form and teacher wish lists for classroom consumables and supplies to all parents.
