Jasmine is the CEO & master nail tech of the salon Canvas Nail & Beauty Studio. Jasmine is also an educator at the post secondary beauty school International Beauty Institute, teaching Nail Technician courses. Jasmine has conducted workshops for the Heydon Cosmo students for the past two years, and has done an amazing job incorporating student voice into the workshops by having the students choose the designs they worked on, colours and techniques. Jasmine has also educated the students on post secondary pathways to college with her experience as a skilled trades postsecondary teacher. Jasmine's workshops inspired students last year to start their own small entrepreneurship endeavors selling nail sets to staff, friends and family. It was a huge success and students had so much pride and wellbeing.
WORKSHOP: Advanced Nail Art/Nail Tech Entrepreneurship Workshop PART 1: Cynthia I, CEO of @itscynderella
Cynthia’s BIO:
Growing up, I always had a deep passion for art. From a young age, I immersed myself in art classes, experimenting with different mediums and techniques, which sparked a love for creativity and precision. As I got older, that artistic drive naturally transitioned into an interest in nail art. I began teaching myself how to do nails, practicing for hours to perfect intricate designs and unique styles. What started as a personal hobby quickly grew into a professional job, as my skills and dedication opened doors I never imagined. Over time, my talent and hard work led me to an incredible opportunity to work with celebrities, doing nails for celebrities like Ayesha Curry, Jhene Aiko, and Kiana Jay etc. These experiences not only validated my journey but also fueled my passion for combining artistry with the beauty industry. Today, I’m proud to share my journey and continue exploring the endless possibilities of nail art as a professional nail technician.
