Eduprotocols for the Science Classroom

Science Eduprotocols

If you understand that the more practice students have with a skill, the more they improve, you'll love the concept of EduProtocols, a series of books written by Marlena Hebern and Jon Corippo. If you haven't tried using them with students yet, I urge you take a closer look. Check out their highly effective strategies here. They have lots of free templates to get you started and a terrific digital resources that help you with all of their book's ideas like the "Plan the Perfect Week" Slide Deck for the first week of school. The consistency and flexibility of the strategies are a teacher life saver, and you will not be disappointed in results you'll see with students.

The 8 p*ARTS EduProtocol is one of my favorite and originally I modified it to meet my needs in terms of graph interpretation for Biology. In this particular protocol, its the REPS that make the difference for students. All you need to do is change out the graph and you have a new assignment for students to practice with.

For anatomy I wanted to create away for students to practice using directional terms repeatedly, so here is my first attempt at creating a similar idea for them. When it comes to the extreme amount of vocabulary inherent to anatomy, the more REPS the better.
