Orientation & Introduction to Information Systems

When starting this class, I definitely thought that this class was going to just be a lot of typing and easy work, but it's actually all very useful information that I would be able to use in the future.

What I did:

• Created notes and defined terms

• Observed Brightspace

• Explored and introduced to SIMnet - Outlook practice

•  Wrote professional emails

• Defined key terms you can find on websites

What I learned: 

• How to write professional emails - What CC and BCC is used for

• How to navigate SIMpath and how it can be used for this course

• What user interfaces are called, and how we can use them

• Learned to make a signature file, which I've actually always wondered how to do!

Reflection

Unit 0 has definitely shown me that I don't know everything about the internet. There are so many more cool features that I have yet to explore!
