The Erymanthian Boar tore through the mountain villages. On his way, Heracles stopped with the centaur Pholus, then climbed into the high country in winter. Rather than meet the boar head on, he drove it out of its thicket and into deep snow until it tired and floundered, then chained it and carried it back on his shoulders. King Eurystheus was so frightened by the sight that he hid in a bronze jar.
Strength is not only how hard you push; it is choosing the ground where you push. Heracles won by strategy, letting the snow do part of the work.
Labour IV turns the wave of Labour I around. The work moves from lighter into heavier and back, a reversed wave that asks your body to adapt to a new order of effort.
The cool-down stretches focus on the full spine, chest and posterior chain, after the reversed wave.
