Heracles' first Labour sent him to Nemea, where a lion with a golden hide was killing at will. No blade, arrow or club could pierce that hide. So Heracles blocked one mouth of the lion's cave, walked in through the other, and wrestled the beast with his bare hands until it fell. He skinned it with its own claw and wore the hide as armour through every Labour that followed.
The first Labour is about starting from where you are. Heracles had no weapon that worked, only the strength he had already built and the nerve to close the distance. Your first block is the same: no tricks, no shortcuts, just showing up and doing the work in front of you.
Labour I is built on a wave-loading series. Within each exercise the load rises and falls, heavy work, then lighter work, then heavy again, so you learn your true working weights and lay the base every later Labour stands on.
The cool-down stretches focus on hips, chest and shoulders, after heavy lower-body and pressing work.
