PALS Program

  This year we have an amazing opportunity for some of our Kindergarteners through 5th graders to participate in the PALS program with Plano Senior High students and Hendrick Middle students. The PALS (Peer Assistance and Leadership) Program is great for students needing an older mentor to look up to. Participation in PALS is based off of teacher nomination. During their time with the Plano High and Hendrick Middle students, Hedgcoxe students will work on things like social skills, team building activities, making friends, emotional management, and so much more! Students will meet with their PALS once a week, for thirty minutes, with the school counselor present to monitor all interactions. Srudents participating in PALS will attend all year.
