Helping Hounds is an organization here at Hedgcoxe run by Mrs. Ganey! Helping Hounds helps students learn empathy, friendship skills, and ways to spread kindness throughout our school and community. Led by the school counselor, Helping Hounds, empowers students to use their words, actions, and hearts to make a positive difference in our school. Students develop character, practice problem-solving skills, and create projects that promote respect and positivity for peers and staff. To be eligible for Helping Hounds, students must be in 4th or 5th grade and have been nominated by their classroom teacher. Parents must return a signed permission slip, granting consent to Mrs. Ganey.
