Requirements:
30 classroom hours + 6 behind the wheel hours + 6 hours behind the wheel observation hours
Students entering 9th grade on up will receive a 1/4 credit towards graduation for this course.
Drivers Education Calendar
Students will be given a Behind The Wheel driving schedule by 4th classroom session.
If times need to change unexpectedly, Mrs. Reinbold will call or text to let you know.
If you hear about a change but did not receive a phone call or text, its a hoax.
Who can be in Drivers Education?
First and foremost, students are eligible if they meet the following criteria:
are 14 years of age as of May 25, 2025
if under 18 years of age and have lost their license due to loss of points
pay the $125 drivers education fee
What if my child lives in the Hebron School District?
You will receive a letter from Hebron High School informing you of your child's eligibility.
What if my child does not attend Hebron School District?
If your child is either home-schooled or attends a different school district, please call Mrs. Hosman, Principal, at the Hebron School -- 878-4442 -- for assistance.
What if my child doesn't have their permit?
It's highly recommended to have a drivers permit before entering into drivers education; however, it's not mandatory. It your child does not have their permit by the time class begins, please look into obtaining the booklet at a NDDOT licensing site or at the Hebron Public School main office. Either place, they are free at the front desk. Also, there's a PDF version available to you in a link below.
How does my child obtain a learner's permit?
