Screen printing is among the most flexible printing processes, and it can be used to print a variety of substrates, consisting of paper, board, plastics, vinyl, glass, metal, textiles, and numerous other products.
The screen printing process includes 3 elements: the screen which is the image provider, the squeegee and ink. The procedure uses a porous mesh securely extended and glued onto a metal frame. A stencil is produced on the screen either by hand or image chemically.
Screen printing ink is applied to the substrate by putting the screen over the product. Ink is placed onto screen and after that required through the great mesh openings using a squeegee that is drawn throughout the screen, using pressure thereby forcing the ink through the open locations of the screen. Ink will travel through only in areas where the stencil is open, hence forming an image on the substrate.
