often referred to as "lazy man's yoga" or "athletic stretching" has been shown to help in lowering stress, decreasing anxiety, enhancing range of motion, improving sleep, boosting energy, and improving athletic performance. Thai yoga combines stretching and movement while utilizing gentle pressure and stretching techniques to stimulate pressure points, open energetic pathways and relax the whole body. Many of the positions are similar to that of yoga postures.
What to Expect:
You can expect to lie on a comfortable floor mat fully clothed, and participate with the practitioner as your muscles and joints are stretched and moved.
Please dress comfortably - much like you would for a cool weather run or yoga class.
