Medicare A: Provides coverage for inpatient hospital stays, including semi-private rooms, meals, general nursing, and other hospital services.
Medicare B: This insurance provides coverage for outpatient medical services and supplies. Part A only covers inpatient hospital care and Part B covers different ranges of services that are essential for maintaining all health and managing medical conditions.
Medicare C: The plan covers a combination of Part A and Part B into one plan. It also offers additional benefits as dental and vision care.
Medicare D: This provides a prescription drug coverage plan and is designed to help Medicare beneficiaries pay for medications they need. It is offered through private insurance companies approved by Medicare.
Who is eligible? Individuals aged 65 and older, younger individuals with disabilities, individuals with ERSD, and individuals with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Deductible information: Part A: 1,600 for each benefit period, Part B: $226 per year
Non-covered services: Routine Dental care, vision services, hearing aids and exams, cosmetic procedures, long-term care, and acupuncture.
Medigap: Private insurance policies designed to supplement original Medicare by covering some out-of-pocket costs.
