Check the costume information card of your dancer's recital routine for the required tights, shoes & accessories as well as hair & makeup information for each of your dancer’s costumes.

Steam your dancer’s costume prior to picture day.  Costumes with tutus should be hung upside down (hang from the bottom of the leotard) to steam and store so that the tutu stays fluffy.  Hang all costumes on hangers and out of garment bags to keep them looking great.

No jewelry unless required by your dancer’s costume.

No fingernail or toenail polish.

NO UNDERWEAR (except for boys).  Tights are your dancer's underwear.

Do not wear your costume until Picture Day and then again until Stage Lessons.

Do not wear your dance shoes outside.  Wear street shoes and change into dance shoes when you arrive.

Drink only water while wearing your costume.
