CELLO THERE! đź‘‹
In orchestra, students use the musical process to develop skills and create music together with their classmates. Orchestra encourages teamwork, growth, and exploration as students learn to play one of the four string instruments. Mistakes are embraced—they help us improve and become stronger string musicians! Everyone can learn music, and with practice, each student will work toward their personal best.
In orchestra , students will learn and develop skills including:
Playing one of the four string instruments:
(violin, viola, cello, or bass)
Proper instrument setup, care, and posture
Reading music and understanding musical symbols
Playing as part of a group and learning ensemble skills!
Performing in multiple concerts throughout the year!
Participating in fun orchestra events such as socials, parties, and field trips!
