Virtual Participation Guidelines

To ensure a smooth and respectful experience for everyone joining the National HBCU Symposium 2025 virtually, please follow these guidelines:

Stay Ready

• Display your full name and institution.

• Test your audio, video, and internet connection before joining.

Stay Respectful

• All participants will be muted by default to avoid distractions; please unmute only when contributing.

• Use respectful, inclusive language at all times.

• One voice at a time — avoid interruptions.

Stay Engaged

• Use the “Raise Hand” feature or the chat box for questions and comments.

• Keep contributions brief and on-topic.

• Limit multitasking so you can remain present and fully engaged.

Stay Informed

• Sessions may be recorded.

• Slides and key resources will be shared with registered participants afterward.
