Photo Policy

Photo & Media Policy

A photographer will be present at the National HBCU Symposium on Digital Innovation in Teaching & Learning (November 2025, Lincoln University). Photographs and recordings may be used by symposium organizers and partners for non-commercial purposes, including but not limited to:

• Promoting the symposium and its activities

• Documenting the event

• Sharing on social media

• Including in reports, presentations, or future publicity materials

Consent

By attending the symposium, you grant permission for organizers to use your image and likeness for non-commercial purposes without payment or other consideration. Your image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed. You waive the right to inspect or approve materials where your image appears.

Opting Out (“No Photos” Option)

If you do not want your photograph taken:

• A special “No Photos” lanyard will be available during on-site registration.

• Photographers will make good-faith efforts to avoid photographing those wearing the lanyard.

• You may still appear in group or background shots.

• Posing for a photograph while wearing the lanyard will be taken as consent to use that image.
