Disney's The Little Mermaid Kids

Three seagulls, Scuttle, Scooter, and Skipper, introduce their favorite story about an adventurous mermaid and a human prince. In the ocean below, King Triton and his daughters, the Mersisters, gather in the royal court ("Fathoms Below – Part 1"). Out on the sea, Prince Eric sails the ocean with a crew of Sailors and wishes for a life of adventure ("Fathoms Below – Part 2"). Prince Eric hears a mysterious voice, but Grimsby, the prince's guardian, reminds him of his responsibilities on land. 

Beneath the waves, Ariel confides in her best friend, Flounder, sharing her dreams about a life on land ("Part of Your World"). Meanwhile, the crab Sebastian has prepared a special concert for King Triton and the Merfolk that will debut Ariel, the king's youngest child ("Daughters of Triton"). When Ariel doesn’t show up, King Triton assigns Sebastian to watch over her. After spying on the proceedings, sneaky eels Flotsam and Jetsam report back to the evil Sea Witch Ursula, who plots to use Ariel to enact revenge on her brother, King Triton. 

Upon discovering Ariel’s collection of human objects, Sebastian and the Sea Creatures urge Ariel to celebrate the wonders of her own world ("Under the Sea"). In the midst of this revelry, Ariel pursues a passing ship, steered by Prince Eric. Lightning strikes the ship, sending Prince Eric overboard ("The Storm"). Ariel saves him from drowning, bringing him safely to shore, and disappears back into the sea ("Part of Your World – Reprise"). Prince Eric wakes up and wonders about the girl with the beautiful voice who saved him. 

Back underwater, the Mersisters speculate about what could be distracting their sister ("She’s in Love"). When King Triton learns of Ariel’s collection of human stuff, he forbids her from going to the surface again. Flotsam and Jetsam find Ariel in despair and lure her to the Sea Witch's Lair. There, Ursula offers to transform Ariel into a human in exchange for her voice, which Ursula will keep in her magic shell ("Poor Unfortunate Souls – Parts 1 & 2"). 

According to Ursula's spell, Prince Eric must declare his love for Ariel within three days or she will turn back into a mermaid and her soul will belong to Ursula forever. Torn, but overcome by her dreams of the world above, Ariel makes the deal and is transformed into a human ("Ariel's Transformation").

 Ariel lands on the surface, unable to speak and with new human legs. Prince Eric meets her on the beach, and though convinced she isn't the girl who saved him, brings her back to the palace. On their first day together, Prince Eric and Ariel connect over their shared love of exploring. On day two, Scuttle and the Gulls cheer up a voiceless Ariel and help her communicate with Prince Eric, who is charmed by Ariel's individuality and whimsical spirit ("Positoovity"). On the third day, Prince Eric and Ariel sail together, but the sun sets before he can say he loves her ("Ariel's Voice"). Unable to fulfill Ursula’s contract, Ariel is drawn into the sea and turned back into a mermaid. 

Back in Ursula’s Lair, King Triton begs for Ariel’s freedom and agrees to trade his trident – and power – for his daughter’s freedom. With both her magic shell and the King's trident, Ursula seizes control of the oceans and is consumed with her newfound power. Suddenly, the Mersisters and Flounder arrive and steal Ursula’s magic shell, restoring Ariel’s voice ("Confrontation"). Ariel outmaneuvers Ursula and shatters the shell, causing Ursula to lose all her power and disappear forever. 

With peace restored, Ariel returns the trident to her father. King Triton reconciles with his daughter, encouraging her to follow her heart. He transforms Ariel back into a human and they arrive on the surface, where Prince Eric has been searching for Ariel ("Becoming Human"). Reunited, Prince Eric realizes Ariel was in fact the girl who saved him! They decide to live a life of adventure together on land, their wishes finally coming true ("Part of Your World – Finale").
