Hawaii Sustainable Development Group is a start-up AgTech company on a mission to bring the world's leading agriculture technologies and renewable energy innovations to Hawaii to support our islands in becoming food sovereign by 2030.

Our Purpose - Why we want to accomplish this

Kuliana is the Hawaiian word for responsibility. We feel it is our responsibility to honor and cultivate the land where we live, work, and play. We fulfill this purpose by implementing a holistic system of advanced technologies from harnessing the power of the sun, to grow our organic seeds, providing the store with local produce, all the way to waste management. Through whole-systems integration, we are able to create an ecological and technological Ahupua'a model for citizens to participate in the values of sustainable living.

Vision - How we are going to accomplish it

We believe all people deserve to have access to clean, organic, pesticide-free local produce, which represents the foundation of our core mission and values, to cultivate a culture of sustainable living in Hawaii. As an added benefit, we will reduce our environmental impact by reducing demand for imported food while increasing food security. We are driven by a vision of creating new jobs for Hawaii's people, that advance agriculture and technology, and utilizing clean renewable energy to power 100% of our operation.
