Jessica grew up riding in Central Virginia and has developed close relationships with many respected professionals throughout the area and the hunter/jumper industry.
Her coaching career began with IHSA in 2013 at Randolph-Macon College, where she helped the team rise from 11th to 5th place in her first year. She later coached the University of Richmond, earning Reserve High Point Team and Rider honors and coaching riders through to IHSA Nationals.
Jessica's passion is developing riders who want to pursue the show ring while building true partnerships with their horses. Her teaching emphasizes equitation, rider effectiveness, horsemanship, and thoughtful preparation, with riders earning top placings on both the local and rated circuits.
More recently, Jessica has focused on expanding Haverhill's competitive program for riders interested in showing locally and on the “A” rated circuit. The team has traveled to venues including the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington and Tryon International Equestrian Center, with plans to add World Equestrian Center and additional venues to the show calendar this year.
Jessica offers both lessons and individualized training rides and believes that success in the show ring begins with confident, effective riders and happy, well-prepared horses.
In addition to coaching, Jessica is a high school chemistry teacher and encourages her riders to pursue excellence not only in the saddle, but academically as well.
Sydney Hundley
Sydney Hundley
Sydney is a 2026 graduate of the University of Kentucky and serves as Haverhill Farm’s Head of Operations. She is also Jess’s working student, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of professional barn management, horse care, training, and the day-to-day life of a professional equestrian while remaining an adult amateur.
Sydney teaches Haverhill’s beginner students from their very first introduction to horses through learning to trot independently. Once accomplished, they graduate to the next instructor to continue progressing through the Haverhill program.
Sydney grew up riding at Haverhill herself, making her a great example of a place to start and a program to grow in.
Tracey Harmon

Tracey coaches our hunter jumper riders and is our head jumper trainer having competed up through the Junior Jumpers as well as the equitation divisions. Tracey has been involved in the horse industry locally as well as being a show groom from Canada to Florida! Tracey joined us in May 2018 and specializes in our equine care. Since then, Tracey has moved more into an instructor, trainer, and horse show manager role at the farm. In addition, she is our resident organizer- we are so grateful to have Tracey as part of our team!

Liz competed as a junior with Joan O'Keefe on the CHSA circuit and while at college, spent her summers learning the ins and outs of running a riding school. After graduating from JMU in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Social Work, Liz moved to Ocala, Florida to take a grooming position for FEI eventer, Buck Davidson. Liz joined the Haverhill team after pivoting from full time instructor to a regular 9-5! Liz loves teaching riders of all ages; from the first lesson to the show ring. She specializes in helping riders find their confidence and developing their riding goals and is a USHJA Credentialed Instructor.
