Need a little one-on-one instruction and individualized attention?
Struggling with certain aspects of agility training that aren't covered in class?
Looking for specific feedback to improve your skills?
Want to work on a specific skill to find ways to perfect it?
Is your dog not comfortable in a group environment (nervous/shy/overstimulated/distracted)?
Please Note: Private agility training classes are NOT appropriate for dogs that are aggressive/reactive to humans or other dogs as there will be other humans and dogs coming and leaving classes on the property as well as the trainer's own dogs occasionally present to be used as demonstration. Working on correcting these behavior issues requires expert consultation with a dog behaviorist and is not an appropriate request for a trainer who specializes in agility training. We have the right to refuse your dog for training if our safety or our dogs' safety is at risk.
Ring distractions - sniffing or visiting in the ring

Knocked jump bars (early/late take-off)
Inconsistent contacts on A-frame or Dog Walk
Lack of drive/willingness to work away from handler
Over-arousal/frequent off-course mistakes
Lack of pre- and post-ring routines to promote generalization
Motivation and timing of rewards
Incorrect tunnel entries/fear of curved tunnels
Poor start-line stays
Handling errors - unclear body language, late verbal cues
Course analysis and handling planning
To be eligible to participate in private training, all of the following must be received by Hauling Auss Agility via email haulinaussagility@gmail.com to confirm your appointment:
Private Agility Instruction Registration Form (right)
Liability Form and Participant Waiver (right)
Up To Date Dog Vaccination Certificate (picture) - Da2PP, Rabies REQUIRED, Bordatella also preferred
Private Instruction fee e-transferred to haulinaussagility@gmail.com
Note: Agility assessment will be part of private training as part of the first private lesson
Please POTTY YOUR DOG before class and in-between runs if needed in designated areas. There is absolutely NO PEE/POOP allowed in the fenced area (agility ring). This is a rule in agility - dogs that eliminate in the ring are excused and the same rule applies
Please CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG - this is our country property where other animals including wildlife live. There are several designated garbage cans for poop disposal
Please BE RESPECTFUL - to other class members, our neighbours, the instructor and the property
Please BE RESPONSIBLE AND IN CONTROL OF YOUR DOG - when they are not working, your dog should be on leash attached to you or safely contained in a crate/penned area. Please bring appropriate equipment such as leashes, collapsible kennels or an X-pen. Although tempting, classes are not a place to have dogs socializing with each other - this interferes with their ability to focus on training and some dogs are not comfortable with socializing with other dogs. Please do not tie your dog to a tree and leave them unsupervised.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING/VAPING allowed anywhere on the property - if you need to smoke, please go off the property or smoke in your car
NO UNSUPERVISED USE OF EQUIPMENT IS PERMITTED during or after classes to prevent damage to equipment or injuries to handler or dog
ANY FORCEFUL/ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR towards a dog or other person will not be tolerated and will result in removal of the team from the agility club
