For this project, my team and I were tasked with producing and pitching a five-minute short film. We chose to create a horror drama using a found footage style, similar to The Blair Witch Project. Due to a last-minute crew issue, I took on both Director and Producer roles. We used a range of cameras and techniques, from handheld GoPros to infrared cameras, to give the film a unique and eerie atmosphere. The editing was designed to appear as though it was a series of clips played back on a camera, adding to the found footage authenticity. This approach resulted in a highly distinctive and creative final product, and it was a great challenge in both technical execution and storytelling.
