WEEKLY PROGRAMS
Weekly Planning Meetings
These are open to the entire community and take place on Fridays from 4:30 to 5 PM in the Women's Center (Canaday B basement).
Aarti and Discussion
Aarti takes place every Friday at 5 PM in the Prayer Space. Discussion or other programming follows. Topics and activities are selected by our Weekly Events Chairs.
Community Dinners
Once a week, the community gets together for dinner in one of the upperclassmen dining halls. This usually takes place after our weekly event on Friday.
Scriptural Study
Scriptural studies vary semester to semester, depending on community interest. We read texts ranging from the Gita to the Ramayana to biographies or novels that speak to causes that are important to us. Contact pranatiparikh@college.harvard.edu for a specific schedule during the academic year!
Y2Y Volunteering
Dharma participates in the interfaith shift at the Y2Y homeless shelter in Harvard Square on Mondays from 6:45 PM to 8:45 PM. Contact us at harvarddharma@gmail.com to find out more and volunteer.
Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK)
CHYK meetings are not officially endorsed by Dharma, but they use the Prayer Space. Discussions happen every Thursday from 7:30 PM to 9 PM. They are a chance to discuss Hindu philosophy as taught by Swami Chinmayananda. Contact Nina Bhattacharya (bostonchyks@gmail.com) for more information.
