We are followers of Srila Prabhupada, who have been inspired by reading his books and have decided to practice this sublime message in our lives. We have accepted Srila Prabhupada's instructions as our life mission, joy and protection.
We believe that every person who follows Srila Prabhupada's guidance is a member of his ISKCON organization, and the Hare Kṛṣṇa Movement is there for all who wish to cooperate in the company of Srila Prabhupada's followers.
We have given up all kinds of religions and are completely dependent on the guidance of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. As recommended by Sri Kṛṣṇa in the final instruction of the Bhagavad-gita:
"Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear."
In this way we follow the path of bhakti yoga, each according to our capacity and according to the guidance of the Lord in our heart, our conscience - the Supersoul:
"Kṛṣṇa is sarvātmā. He is situated in everyone's heart as his friend. He is real friend. He is guiding me. He is within, conscience that we..., or good instruction, advice. He says this: "Don't be materially attached." Sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekam: [Bg. 18.66] "Come to Me. Simply surrender unto Me. I shall give you protection. I shall give you intelligence."
We are learning to listen to this guidance and support each other on our united spiritual journey. We meet regularly under the local Hare KṛṣṇaTree.
All over the world following this instruction from Srila Prabhupada:
"In Bhagavad-gītā it is clearly said that yajña should be performed for Lord Viṣṇu. Lord Viṣṇu has one thousand popular, transcendental names, out of which one name is Yajña.
lt is clearly said that everything should be done for the satisfaction of Yajña, or Viṣṇu. All other actions a person may take are only causes for his bondage. Everyone has to perform yajña according to the Vedic hymns. As stated in the Upaniṣads, fire, the altar, the auspicious full moon... and the beverage called soma are necessary requisites...
The whole target of life, therefore, is to please Lord Viṣṇu. That is yajña. Any person who is in Kṛṣṇa consciousness has dedicated his life for the satisfaction of Kṛṣṇa, the origin of all Viṣṇu forms, and by offering worship and prasāda daily, he becomes the best performer of yajña.
In the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam it is clearly stated that in this age of Kali the only successful performance of yajña, or sacrifice, is yajñaiḥ saṅkīrtana-prāyaiḥ: the best type of sacrifice is simply to chant
Hare Kṛṣṇa, Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare
Hare Rāma, Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare. "
